These pictures were taken during historic f1 races and exhebitions. The cars can differ from the way they raced. However the cars changed during the season when they raced and could have had many modifications made to it.

When building a model from a specific race be sure not to mix pictures from different books or sites. Check the details in the entire picture (racetrack, advertising etc.).
